This block is both light weight, so easy to carry around and provides great support, whatever your shape or weight.  Blocks are a practical tool for modifying poses, allowing you to gradually increase your flexibility.  They can provide support to even up the sit-bones in seated poses, support to give more space to allow a certain rotation in an ankle or foot, bring the earth closer in standing poses where you need to have a hand on the floor but may not be able to reach yet.... the list of uses for this type of yoga prop is endless.  We recommend that you take guidance from your Yoga Teacher on how exactly to use this prop in a way that is appropriate to your particular yoga practice.
